I discovered You Matter through Instagram, possibly Twitter when the brand first dropped.
It was a pivotal moment with the brand when I received my first hoodie. Also, seeing so many people who were just as excited as me when the hoodies dropped.
My journey with mental health? Wheeww, that’s a lot. From sexual assault, suicide attempts, growing up being bullied by family & in school, self doubt issues, family toxicity. It’s for sure been a lot.
To deal with tough times, I usually isolate myself so I can get me together. I love to spend that time alone so I can self evaluate situations & learn how I can solve issues.
You’re not alone! Whatever you may be going through, that trouble doesn’t last always. Also, don’t be afraid to speak up about what’s hurting you. Know that it’s okay not to be okay. Surround yourself with the people you love in those moments. Also, know it’s okay to ask for help because we all need it at times. Know that you are loved & that YOU Matter!
